It is snowing up here right now… got fresh powder today and more tomorrow.. hit some place called Stevens yesterday and Baker tomorrow.. should be fun. Want to be back in San Diego tho.. soon enough!!
So I have been out in Vegas the last few days playing in the Bellagio 5 Diamond Poker Classic which is a collection of poker tournaments over a week or so. Tonight I entered the $1,000 buyin no limit tourney with 104 other players. Sat down and started wrecking shop, pretty soon I was second or third in chips. After 5 hours or so we were down to 30 players and my stack had dwindled to about average. I was in the big blind with Q-10 unsuited. 4 players limped in and I checked. Flop came Q-10-A with 2 diamonds. I bet out twice the pot and 2 players went all in in front of me. I of course called. One had A-J (what the f— was he doing???) and the other had the nut flush draw. Turn gave him a flush and the river came Q giving me a full house. 
Tripled up and eliminated 2 players!!! The tourney paid the top 9 spots with $43k going to the winner.
We got down to 13 players, and I hadn’t won a hand since the big one above. I kept trying to steal with mediocre hands and getting raised and having to fold, and I was down to about 50k in chips. I was on the button and got A-Q suited. The cutoff spot raised it twice the normal raise, and I doubled his raise (why????). He calls and the flop comes Q-5-3. He checks and I go all in. He calls with pocked fives (flopped a set) and I get crushed. Out in 13th place, 4 short of the money. :-(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((
On the upside I did go to the Billboard Music Awards at the MGM earlier in the day and that totally rocked. I am going to cry now.
Damn I can’t wait to get in the snow. Was supposed to go to Tahoe this weekend to ride, but forgot about something I had to do here so I had to cancel… Definitely hitting something soon. I am playing in the Bellagio’s 5 Diamond Classic this week but I will definitely be breaking for the mountains asap. Thinking either Seattle with Schulte or Tahoe. Decisions Decisions…… Who wants to go??

Went to this crazy mixed martial arts fight last night, King of the Cage - its kind of like UFC but smaller. Why would I go to some random shit like that you ask? To see my boy Charlie knock some fool out in the first 36 seconds of his fight. Big ups Charlie, you are the man.
