san diego mayor resigns

So unless you live in san diego or pay close attention to these things, you probably don’t know our mayor has resigned, our deputy mayor is under indictment, and our city is 2 steps shy of bankruptcy. Other than the people we elect to run our civic business, San Diego really is a GREAT place to live. I mean, aside from the constant influx of people who have no idea how to drive here, the skyrocketing real estate prices, and the inept city officials.
Oh well, at least the talk shows have something to keep them busy. I guess they are going to have a special election to find a new mayor. Go Mickey Nicholson! Safe money’s on Donna Frye.
This City Council has been a disgrace to San Diego. They are cutting neighborhood programs rather than cutting their own budgets. If the City Council cut their own budget by 20 percent, it would pay for 21 6 to 6 after school programs – 37 have been cut.
I’m the only major canddate that has a plan to solve San Diego’s fiscal crisis without raising taxes by rolling back illegal pensions and cutting the City Hall bureaucracy by 10 percent.
